North Coast Cultural Tour Zanzibar

This is a Full-Day guided Tour. You will be picked up at your hotel around 9 am. Depending on the location of your hotel you will either start your tour in Stown Town or in the North. When departing from Stone Town, you will take your way to Kidimni Village to visit a local factory were the artistic Zanzibar doors are produced. Get an impression of the working atmosphere and an introduction into the production process! The following destination on your tour will be Kinyasini Village.

Here you will get a sense of the local culture by visiting a local fruit, vegetable and cloths market. Afterwards you will continue to Mkokotoni Village to see a local fish market. The last destination on your tour will be Nungwi village located on the tip of the North. On the way you will pass by a local nail production. These nails are later on used for the construction of the traditional Dhow sailing boat, which is iconic to Zanzibar.

In Nungwi you will visit a sea turtle aquarium and the local Dhow production site where you will get information about the production of these iconic boats. After all of those activities you will be full of great impressions about the local life and culture. Enjoy the rest of your day at the beautiful white-sand Nungwi beach.Enjoy this paradise! At the end of the day, you will be transferred back to your hotel.
